Hi everyone, welcome to Biohacking Girls podcast. We are the hosts and I am Alette. And I am Monika. We are good friends and colleagues and we put together our experiences and knowledge to inspire you to become your own biohacker and optimize your life.
We follow new research and trends and ask the questions we think are necessary. We share information about biohacking, life coaching and fitness, and we hope you will feel inspired and ready to take a step to get in the best health-oriented form. Welcome to the Biohacking Girls podcast.
Today we are so lucky that we have Daniel L. Root back with us again. We had him on the podcast a few weeks ago, Monika, and then we talked about toxins. And that was pretty scary to say it mildly.
Yes, it's incredible how much we are exposed to toxic substances. It's so hard to understand, because you can't see these things, right? It's so easy to just not care about it, because it's invisible. I have been in that trap, absolutely, but fortunately we took these oligo tests, so that we could see that we had a lot of toxins, even though we feel that we do a lot to not be so toxic.
But what's fun is that he and his father have made this detoxification protocol, which is a cool thing. And then it's sauna with the use of niacin. And if you didn't hear that first episode, you should go back and hear it before this, because here comes the protocol itself.
I agree. There is a lot of information in part 1 of these two episodes with Daniel Root. But fortunately, I would say that there is a protocol like this. It's pretty tough, I know, after having tested it. It's good to think that we can make some measures to get rid of toxic substances and heavy metals.
And in today's episode, we're going to go a little deeper into this protocol. Yes, because it's extensive. It actually takes 30 days. You should be reasonably dedicated here before you start. We're talking about experience, and you actually need quite good preparations. But you know what? We just have to say that it takes 30 days, but we've maybe done a little shortcut version. Welcome to Biohacking Girls podcast.
Thank you so much for coming back to our podcast, Daniel Root. We look forward to today to go...
through the specifics of the Detoxification with Niacin program. Well, thank you for having me back. It's great to see you guys again. And I really am glad we're going to be able to talk about this program. I also want people to understand too that this is nothing to be dabbled in. This is something that you really must understand fully how to do the program. And you can find the full write-up in my book,
But also, I make available the chapter three of the book as a PDF that can be downloaded from our website. So it's important to understand that this is so powerful that and there are contraindications or preclusions that people need to be aware of. And I think we ought to cover that first.
because frankly, if a woman is pregnant or breastfeeding, they're absolutely unable to do this program. So we've, I think mentioned that in the first episode, but the other thing too, is, is if you have heart conditions, especially where there's a pacemaker or defibrillator involved, these are things that are also going to be an absolute no on our program.
There are other conditions that you can read about and just know that it's important to read those because there are certain conditions that are either going to be a, you know, you better check with your primary care practitioner or they're a flat out no. So, yeah.
But I really believe strongly that everybody needs this program if you're alive on this planet today. So just know that it's so powerful that if you're on any kind of psych medications for any kind of depression or anxiety or any other mental health issues, there's a real risk of having a withdrawal, sudden withdrawal from this program because it's going to pull those medications out of the body and they will not be able to do their job.
So you better consult with your medical practitioner before you take on this program. So meaning you have to go to the doctor and just do a general health check? I would strongly encourage it. It's not required, but I strongly encourage that people just make sure that they're capable of being in extended heat for, you know, we do about 45 minutes in a first sauna cycle and about 30 minutes in a second sauna cycle with an infrared sauna. Okay.
So I'm going to try to cover both the dry sauna version and the infrared sauna because I'm pretty certain in Norway most people are using the dry saunas, not the infrared. Is that a good assessment? We do both, but I was just asking because as we are biohackers, we do cold exposures. We're used to go to the sauna. We are pretty safe and sound, like not unhealthy. Do you think we...
If you are healthy and your baseline is good and your blood levels are good, you would be safe to go into this protocol. Absolutely. Absolutely. And even if you are suffering from any conditions that are caused by these chemicals and heavy metals, it is okay to go through the program. That's the whole point. But if you do have any concerns with liver or kidneys, I would strongly recommend that you do get checked out. Great. Great.
Okay, so let's start. From the beginning, how should we prepare to start a protocol? Okay, so there are some consumables that are going to be required, but there's also the mindset. You really need to be in the right mindset to commit to your health for a period of about 30 days. Now, in the first edition of the book, I do talk about a 14-day program. That is really more of a maintenance program. It's what I will do every two to three years.
But literally in this day and age, it's more important for people to consider doing this program for about 30 days for the first go around. From there, you can do maybe 14 or 21 days. But just know that I recommend strongly that people consider doing this for 30 days. And that takes a commitment. So you have to have the right mindset to be able to commit to your health this way and make it part of your routine, your daily routine. You know, it's something that I strongly encourage everybody on this planet to do, but not everybody can.
So that's the body prep, if you will. I sometimes will, you know, depending on a person, recommend maybe a ketogenic diet at the beginning, but I don't like that one long term. So just know that it's helpful to, you know, get the fat burning. So that's what we're trying to do here anyway.
But the consumables that are going to be needed or the products that you need to do this program are quite extensive, actually, because we're putting the body under a lot of stress. So you're in a sympathetic mode for the 30 days of the program. And we need to be able to replenish a lot of things that are sweated out.
because you do sweat out the good stuff with the bad. And it's mostly like the fat soluble vitamins and really the minerals are the biggest concern. In fact, we know we're sweating out the potassium, calcium, magnesium, sodium, and chloride, and we need to replenish these. And most of these are electrolytes anyway. And with sauna use, you should be using electrolytes. In fact,
Most people may not realize this, but electrolytes help your body to absorb water into the tissues and that water will then be available to sweat out and that'll keep your body sweating the way we need it.
it. So, all right, let me go through the list of the types of consumables that we use. Of course, niacin is the number one thing, and it has to be the flushing form of niacin. So no other form like niacinamide or nicotinamide or inositol hexanicotinate, say that one 10 times fast,
None of those are able to be used. It has to be the pure nicotinic acid or niacin, and it cannot have any kind of timed release. So no slow release, extended release, or any of those. So just know it's pure niacin that we need.
Now that I recommend people buy in capsule form. The original book, I talked about powder, but I had an issue where I forgot the decimal point and I thought I was going to dose myself with a 50 milligram dose and wound up taking 500. That's not a good idea. So just know the capsules make it easier. And what I recommend you do is get the 100 milligram capsules, a 500 milligram capsule, you know, a source for that, as well as a thousand milligram capsules.
So that helps you to dose exactly on our protocol. So I have a question about that because I only was able to get 500 milligrams. So what I did, I opened the capsule and I poured out half of it. It smells kind of gross. Yeah, yeah.
It's very oily. I know that is, that is fine. You can do that. And, uh, just basically cut up into maybe five lines of it. It's kind of funny because back to my cocaine era, but you basically are going to divide that into five doses and then you've got a easy, you know, a hundred and you can, you can go by hundreds on that. It makes more sense.
So the niacin, of course, is the most important. Now, we're also going to want to get electrolytes and source really good electrolytes. What we use, in fact, there's a kit that we sell in this country that is designed for the Scientologist version of this, and it works very well for our needs. However, it does not include binders because they don't use them.
But the type of electrolytes that we use are potassium pills, salt pills, and what are called plasma electrolytes or cell salts.
And these are things that hopefully you can find in your country, but just know that we use all three of these after each sauna cycle. So that's the electrolytes. Then there's a calcium gluconate and a magnesium carbonate powder that we use to mix what's called CalMag.
Now, CalMag is a blend that actually makes the calcium more bioavailable in the body because calcium is a very alkaline material and it will not stay in the body unless it's had its pH reduced. So it needs to become more acidic.
And this formulation that we use takes a tablespoon of calcium gluconate and a half teaspoon of magnesium carbonate mixed in with apple cider vinegar. And this apple cider vinegar is going to be mixed together with these two ingredients and they're going to sit for five minutes or more to allow the apple cider vinegar to change the pH of this material so it is more acidic and the body can use it.
So the CalMag beverage is something that when you add hot water after a five-minute period, the calcium gluconate will break down into solution and be more tolerable to drink. But the batch that you mix with the CalMag recipe should be good for three days. So you're getting basically...
you're getting a batch that you don't have to mix every day. You can do it every third day, but, or even fourth day. The thing is, is that the flavor of it is not that great for some people who don't like apple cider vinegar. So we know that you can add for flavoring cranberry juice, orange juice, or even pomegranate juice. Those will change the flavor for more tolerable drink.
But just know that you want to refrigerate what you don't use each day. So, and you'll want to shake it up and make it go back into solution because it will come out of solution. But anyway, the cow mag recipe is important to follow exactly because it is something that, you know, the popular term is cow gag when it's not made properly. So anyway,
The cow meg recipe is used in the second sauna cycle. We'll get to that in just a little bit. We'll go through the step-by-step. The other thing, too, is the vitamins and minerals. So we do replenish the vitamin A, which in our country is also mixed with an E vitamin. There's the B complex, B1, and then C and E.
Did I get that right? I think I did. So, uh, so AD, yeah, we got the first two was AD. Anyway, the, uh, the vitamins and minerals are dosed specifically with the niacin. And this is why it's helpful to have either our guidebook or the actual book, because
There are dosing charts there that show you that whatever niacin dose you're on, you can then see what the value of the replenishment should be. And I use that word replenishment on purpose because we are replenishing what is being sweated out. Don't look at this as supplementation. We're definitely replenishing.
Now, the other thing too is that there's a lecithin. It could be soy lecithin. It can be, I prefer sunflower, but unfortunately our kit comes with the soy because that's what the Scientologists use. But
But the lecithin can be sunflower, it can be soy, and oils. In the kit, there's a blend of polyunsaturated, cold-pressed oils. And typically, if you want to just know which kinds of oils would be used on this program, it can be flaxseed, hemp, olive oil, avocado oil. There's plenty of cold-pressed, polyunsaturated oils that you can mix with
We prefer the blending. And these are the omega-3, 6, 9 essential fatty acids that the brain needs and the body's cells need. So we're also doing a lipid exchange with these oils for the good oils are replenished or replacing the bad oils or lipids.
The lecithin is used to break down those oils so your body can digest them better. The lecithin is pretty much dosed at 2,400 milligrams, and it allows the body to be able to not only break down because it's an emulsifier, to break down those oils for your body to digest, but lecithin is a precursor for choline. And choline will make the cell membranes more permeable for these materials to be able to exit out of the cells.
And also choline and niacin are supporting glutathione. So this protocol is also supporting the liver's ability to detox. So all of these things are used on the program and they're used at times, specifically time for everything. So this is another reason why it's best to have the instructions. Because again, if you dabble in this program, you can get yourself into trouble. So I just want to make sure people understand that there's a lot of moving parts.
And we want to make sure that you time everything appropriately so everything has the chance to do what it needs to do. Do you know that we have produced our own omega-3 oil? Taking omega-3 is very good at keeping you healthy, and you don't want to get sick, because even if you eat clean food and take smart choices, you never know if you will get an inflammation in your body. And the nice thing about taking omega-3 is that it actually neutralizes all the omega-6 oil we also get in us.
Our oil contains only one fatty acid source, namely anise, which is pure and free from heavy metals and environmental toxins. And as biohackers, we only want to take high quality products that are taken easily in the body. You can feel it on your body when you lack omega-3 with pain in muscles and chelates, problems with memory, dry skin and maybe mood swings.
Omega-3, as Bayak & Girls from Easy Choice, will be a good solution. It contains high levels of EPA, DHA and DPA, long-chain omega-3 fatty acids. Also vitamin K, 2, E and D3.
If some of our listeners need guidance, are you available to help us long distance?
Absolutely. In fact, since COVID hit, I have been doing mostly remote detox coaching. Thank you for asking. So yes, at this time, I have clients all over the world and we work with the time differences, no problem. So basically, yes, I do remote detox coaching. And in fact, if you're interested in looking into that more, the website is getdetoxinated.com and I'm sure that'll be in the description
show notes. Also, the other thing to know is that I offer a complimentary Zoom consult. And there's a website called heal.me, H-E-A-L.me. And
And then forward slash detox where you can book a complimentary consultation with me. So I'm happy to talk before you even embark on this program. So those are two things that you should know about. Now, I think I was about to mention the full daily session. So you get some kind of idea how this program does work.
So typically we would have a person take the niacin about two and a half to three hours before they do anything else. This gives the body a chance to metabolize the niacin and it will cause that rebound lipolysis condition.
So at that point, when the person has started into that rebound condition, in fact, one way you can find out that you're setting up that condition is by the fact that you may feel fatigued during the first three hours of ingesting niacin. If you start feeling fatigued simply because your body's not producing as much ATP energy, if you recall from the first episode.
So the fatigue is a good way of identifying if the rebound is about to occur, but you're not necessarily going to experience that.
And in fact, I will mention too, by the way, that a lot of people set their alarm clock for maybe 4 or 4.30 in the morning and then take their niacin so that they can go back to sleep during that period of depressed lipolysis where the fatigue will occur, and they sleep right through the flush. And that way, they can get up maybe about 7 o'clock and then start the rest of their daily session.
Now, the rest of the session goes like this. So you take your oils and lecithin an hour after niacin up to the point of exercise. So you have about an hour and a half to fit the oils and lecithin in, and they should be taken at the same time, but not necessarily mixed together.
So the oils and lecithin are dosed before you actually start your exercise. And I will tell you that the oils are basically based on your body weight. If you weigh below basically 200 pounds, you're going to be doing three tablespoons of the oils. And if you weigh between 200 and 300, you'll be taking four tablespoons of oils. And if you weigh above 300, you should be doing five or six tablespoons of oil.
And the less of them will pretty much always be the 2,400 milligrams. Now, those, like I said, can be taken anytime after an hour from niacin, but all the way up to the point of exercise.
Then you'll do about 20 to 30 minutes of aerobic. This is actually low impact aerobic exercise. And this is to get the heart rate back up so that the blood is pushing these toxins that have been liberated and made themselves available back into the bloodstream so that they can be pumped out to the skin layers or dermis layers. So the exercise is simply just to get those liberated toxins mobilized out to the dermis layers.
Now, this can be anything from, you know, walking, running, treadmill, rebounder. You can use an exercise cycle. In fact, I even recommend a breathing technique that I found through Tony Robbins. He's got a priming exercise that involves a breathing. It's a very active breathing method. I believe Wim Hof probably has something very similar if you're familiar with the Iceman.
But anyway, the breathing is very doable for the exercise. We just want to get the heart rate up. Now, once you've done the exercise portion, this is when you want to go into the sauna. But before you step into the sauna, take some activated charcoal. Now, if you're doing the capsules, typically it's going to be three capsules of the activated charcoal before you go into the sauna.
You want to stay hydrated. So, you know take a glass of water with you No plastic bottles in the sauna, please in fact try not to use any plastic bottles for that matter because of the BPA and phthalates that are going to poison you but the glass or even a Stainless steel cup whatever you've got so drink water while you're in the sauna and you want to towel off regularly then here's the thing about toweling the
There is, you know, with the sweat mechanism, the sweat is designed to regulate the body temperature. So you want to sweat or towel off that sweat as well as doing a dry brushing technique when you're toweling. So if you know anything about dry brushing, you always are pulling up towards the heart to move the lymphatic system. So I have people use their towel and always drop from the wrists and the ankles or the waist towards the heart. And you'll be wiping off the sweat so your body's not...
forced to sweat more, plus you're eliminating those excreted toxins from your body so they don't reabsorb. All right, the next step after doing about 45 minutes in sauna, I will stress this too, by the way, if you haven't worked up to 75 or 45 minutes at a time, you should just slowly work up to that. This is a go low and slow process. So don't try to overdo it in the first few days if you're not used to doing sauna that long.
So once you've done the 45 minutes of sauna... And before you continue, just a quick question about the exercise. How many minutes exercise on the trampoline, for instance?
20 to 30 minutes is what we go for. And again, if you're not used to exercise, go low and slow with that. But if you aren't able to exercise and breathing. And one more thing. When you say 45 minutes, because we didn't talk about, are we talking about dry sauna or are we talking about infrared sauna? In this case, we are talking about infrared sauna. It's what we're most used to these days. So I will come back to that with the dry sauna. But yes, we're in the infrared sauna.
this one. The 15 minute cool down period can be anywhere from five to 15 minutes. And this is where we will have you take your electrolytes. So in the case of the way we dose them, it's one potassium, one salt taken with water, and then four plasma electrolytes are also known as cell salts that are taken sublingually, which means under the tongue, which
Makes them work much faster, but if you accidentally chew and swallow those that's okay But the the electrolytes involve all three of those if you can find them otherwise there are products like pure encapsulations They have a blend that's a I think it's their electrolyte energy formula So that's something that you can also substitute these electrolytes with
But what you'll do now is you'll have your CalMag beverage ready to take in with you to the second sauna cycle. And again, if you have not worked up to doing a second sauna cycle, that's something to work towards. But the second sauna cycle should be about 30 minutes and you'll be drinking that CalMag during that period.
Again, towel off regularly. So when you're done with that, you will do another round of the electrolytes. And there are steps that we strongly recommend. Things like taking your temperature before you even take the niacin, just to make sure you don't have a fever. We take the temperature after each test.
or sauna cycle, simply because we want to make sure you don't exceed three degrees of core body temperature, because then you are at risk of having heat stroke or heat exhaustion. So we do the temperature at the center. That is optional. The other things too to consider is this fact that, you know, you're going to be, you know,
doing a lot of activities that have to be spaced out so they have enough time. So the oils and lecithin are done long before you take the activated charcoal.
And then the activated charcoal will be in the system long enough that when you go about taking the electrolytes, like the 45 minutes of sauna time, that the activated charcoal is not going to affect those electrolytes. By the way, activated charcoal is able to pick up minerals. So in fact, that's why it's not safe to take activated charcoal for extended periods.
But during our program, you're doing it for 30 days. The extended periods I'm thinking of are like six months to a year. You should never do activated charcoal that much. Now, we will have you start using the zeolite after you've finished your daily session. And you want to do the zeolite about three to five times daily.
day after your session. So the zeolite is essentially taken every four hours. It's about a scoop size or a tablespoon, excuse me, a teaspoon in about eight ounces of water. But keep in mind that this is using a negative charge on the zeolite to pick up positively charged
toxins. And therefore, if you use a metal spoon or a metal cup with zeolite, you'll deactivate it. So just keep that in mind. This plastic, glass, wood, bamboo, or ceramic, but no metal for zeolite.
And I also recommend people use a 16 ounce glass of water at bedtime and put two scoops of the zeolite at bedtime into that glass. And you'll drink half of that before you actually go to bed. And if you wake up in the middle of the night with a headache or nausea, you can finish off the glass. So that's how we dose the zeolite.
Now, the vitamins and minerals are going to be dosed based on those charts that I mentioned in our book in the guidebook. But these are taken with your next meal and they should be taken together, the vitamins and minerals. But I will warn you, if you're doing a nighttime session, you want to wait till breakfast. You don't want to take those before you go to bed. You'll not sleep. So I also should probably talk about the manifestations. Should I talk about different detox symptoms people will have?
This is an area that is, some of it's interesting and some of it's not so fun. The manifestations or detox symptoms that you can expect are everything from past sunburns that you, if you've ever had a, like a bikini top that you had a sunburn and it burned the pattern into your body to
during a flush you might actually see that reappear and It will go away for good because the body will now have enough of because of as a dilation it will have enough oxygenate oxygenated red blood cells to go in and actually heal those areas that never fully healed so the vasodilation is actually going to help make that go away and I've seen plenty of sunburns come back and it's really fascinating to see and
Other things are smells and tastes. So if you've ever used products that had smells or you've eaten something that had a taste that suddenly comes back, that is a detox symptom. So, yeah.
One of the most common things in this country that we see is a suntanning oil called Hawaiian tropic coconut oil. And that coconut smell is very obvious. People who are past smokers, for example, will start to have nicotine that that smell coming off the smoke smell coming off their bodies and the taste of the nicotine and things like that.
The other thing is you may have metallic taste in your mouth or tongue, and that's a definite sign that your body's detoxing. So, but it also, if you're off the program and you have that metallic taste, that could be in other conditions. So just know if you're getting it during our program, that it's more than likely to detox. Other things. Amazing how the body remembers. Well, it's stuff that's stored. It's coming out. Yeah. So it's stored in the fat and it's coming out through the sweat. Yeah.
Um, there is an ammonia smell that people will report and, uh, just know that if you smell ammonia, your body's using up amino acids and your, your kidneys are screaming out for more water. So if you do smell ammonia, you need to be drinking some more water. And I will even say you should probably have more electrolytes so your body can absorb that water into the tissues.
There are things like pimples that may reappear or I should say appear on your maybe belly or your chest or your forehead or your scalp. These pimples are because you're releasing materials that are caustic or solvents. And sometimes they're even chemicals that have mixed on the surface once they sweat it out of your body and they're irritants to the skin. And so you will have a histamine response that creates the red bumps.
Now, just know that if you wash the area very carefully and keep an eye on it, it will go away rather rapidly. It's not like acne from, you know, when you're a younger teenager or whatever. So those are some of the main ones. Now, headache, nausea, flu-like symptoms, diarrhea, vomiting, these are all signs that not only are you detoxing, but you're probably not doing enough zeolite.
And it's important to know that zeolite is going to help mitigate most of these symptoms. However, things like diarrhea can be caused by the high doses of vitamin C. We use a lot of vitamin C on this program. It is basically a histamine destroyer. So it's helpful for the niacin flush, first of all. But the thing is, is that
If you're not used to taking vitamin C, you may reach bowel tolerance very rapidly, and so that can cause diarrhea. The niacin itself can cause that as well. Activated charcoal, on the other hand, can cause constipation. So that's another thing to be aware of, and this is why we use zeolite the most. So...
I think, frankly, that covers pretty much the basics of this program. But just know that you really need to be very cognizant of the timing of things, especially the niacin, and making sure that you're not taking any zeolite, for example, around any medications. If these are true pharmaceutical medications, I'm not usually worried about thyroid meds, by the way, the Synthroids or the Armour.
but the petrochemical based pharmaceuticals will be picked up by these binders. So you've got to make sure you time the binders away from any medications by at least an hour.
Keto recipes with love from Monica and Alette. Our goal with this cookbook is that it should be a real boost for you to live the ketogenic lifestyle. Yes, it's the only Norwegian keto cookbook on the market. And we just want to enjoy every meal and feel that our body blossoms when we eat clean and delicious food with good ingredients that are easy to get hold of.
We want to look forward to every meal, and we want families and friends not to complain about the food that is served. It's easy to play around and change ingredients and make your own variations, so let's start with good, nutritious raw materials. We have bulletproof coffee, tahini bread, fried avocado with egg, naan.
Beef waffles, what about fathead pizza? We also want to teach you how to make kraft. Egg pudding, lots of keto-coolies. Yes, and we even have some keto-friendly drinks. But Monika, what is your favorite in this cookbook? I can't do without the kraft pancake, I eat it every week. It's really good, but I'm also very weak against collagen and coffee shake.
So this sounds like the best anti-aging longevity protocol ever. What can we expect to feel? What kind of diseases can we kind of reverse? What kind of diseases can we reverse?
cholesterol, plaque on your arterioles, whatever. Share with us, Daniel. Okay. So yes, this is the best anti-aging and longevity protocol as I am a testament to personally. But the thing is, is that we've seen many different conditions reversed. And you have to consider that whenever there's a condition that has no known etiology or no known cause, etiology,
That's typically related to mitochondrial dysfunction caused by these toxins in the fat. And obesity or stubborn fat is something that is caused, of course, by these toxins because once the fat is very toxic, it will not participate in energy production. Therefore, once you go through our protocol, you'll start to see your body is able to control the weight better. So if you're overweight, you'll start to see the weight dropping off.
If you're underweight, your body will, your metabolism will be so well reset that you'll be able to actually gain weight that you need. So that's a wonderful outcome, but we don't even advertise this as a weight loss program simply because that puts us into a whole new realm of regulations and insurance requirements and things like that. It's just a side effect to us.
So, but conditions that are definitely reversible are things like we've seen migraine issues go away. We have seen things like MS, multiple sclerosis, asthma, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, adrenal fatigue,
I mean, you can go down this list of any condition that has no known etiology. Just consider it's, in fact, autoimmune. There's a big one right there. These are all conditions that can be reversed with this protocol. I've had plenty of people come off their diabetes type 2 medications as well because of this program. But we're just reversing the conditions by eliminating the barriers to good health.
So just know that we can't cure anything. Can't use that word. But we can certainly reverse conditions because we're getting rid of the things that are causing them. So there's a lot of things I've seen. In fact, one of my favorite stories is to talk about a patrolwoman from New York who came to our center because she was involved with meth lab raids.
And her testimonials on our website, her name is Jessica Rivers and I'm allowed to use her name because she's given us a testimonial. But the thing is, is that she came to the center because of all the meth labs that she had been involved with and, you know, rating those labs and getting doused with solvents. But she got to our center and she told us, oh, by the way, I had a slip and fall injury. And so my neck whiplash more than it should have. And I have terrible range of motion with my arms.
And then she also indicated that she had migraines and fibromyalgia. And I think at that point, that was all she told me about. There was more. But anyway, she came through our program and immediately after starting the zeolite, her migraines went away and she no longer needed the zeolite.
migraine medication. And I give Zeolite the credit for this because it was too soon into her 30-day program for that to have had any effect. So the Zeolite was instrumental in getting rid of her migraines. Second of all, when she went through the program, we found that the fibromyalgia was handled because of, we had, as soon as I hear fibromyalgia, I put people on a Beamer mat, the PEMF, Pulse Electromagnetic Field mats,
I don't know if you have these in your country, but essentially it's able to get the microcirculation moving and helped with her to go through the program. So the fibromyalgia went away. We were able to handle her range of motion, by the way, with microcurrent technology we had. But just know that the other conditions that she had that she never told me about was allergies.
And she said two weeks after she got home, it was mid allergy season and her body was not having any issues with the allergies. And then the second thing was, is that she told me a week after that, that she had had endometriosis and that was resolved by our protocol.
So, you know, there's a lot of things we didn't even realize we were able to reverse. But if they have a cause of environmental toxins, then more than likely we're going to be able to reverse that. But here in Norway, we have also the dry sauna. Many people have that in their homes.
So I know the protocol is a little bit different when you use the dry sauna. And also what's popular these days are these sauna tents, the infrared sauna tents where you have your head up. Is that something we can use? Yes. So thanks for bringing us back around to the dry saunas. So dry saunas typically...
It depends on your tolerance level. If you can handle being in a dry sauna for extended periods like 30 to 45 minutes, you can do this protocol pretty quickly.
You can? Good. So the protocol can be done just like in an infrared sauna if you can tolerate that. Now, most people have an issue with staying in that kind of heat for more than 15 to 20 minutes. So they need repeated cycles of heating and cooling to do this, to get to that sebaceous sweat. So really what you want to do is
essentially, uh, like every second or third, uh, sauna cycle, you're going to do the electrolytes. You're not going to do it each time, but you're going to do it like every second or third cycle. And then, um, it's just the repeatedness of it. So, uh, you may spend another hour on a daily session if you're using a dry sauna, but if you can tolerate the time, then by
by all means do the 45 minutes and 30 minutes. I will also tell you that the reason that that patrol woman came from New York was because her coworker, who was a detective, he came in first and his towels are on our website, actually on the front page of our website. You can see him holding up a towel. Now, he produced those colorful towels every day he was on the protocol.
And the towels indicated to me that he needed to do three 30-minute cycles in an infrared sauna. So we've even included a third cycle and just put people through for 30 minutes at a time. And that's a total of 90 minutes in sauna. So he was a prime example of when I would use three 30 minutes. But most people, 45 and 30 is all you need.
So the infrared saunas that come in a portable style like these tents, they are absolutely usable. However, they do put off a lot more EMFs and VOCs or volatile organic compound off-gassing. So be aware of that. But I've had plenty of people use these portable saunas. We do know of three brands that are very capable of doing the program. One of them is Relax Saunas.
The other is Therasage. And the third one is Synergy. So those three portable sauna manufacturers make saunas that we know can accomplish the task.
We have to make sure we wear an EMF hat or something on when we go into the tent. Last, since we are doing so many biohacks on a daily basis, we do the cold exposures or we are grounding. Is there something we should not combine when we do this protocol? Because this is a full-time job for 30 days. Yeah, you're in a high school. Can we work? Can we live? No, we can't because we will look like shit. Right.
This is a very stressful on the body protocol. In fact, I should, before I answer the question, let me point out the fact that most people don't even see results during a 30 day program. It's not until they come off of their program that the body is returning to homeostasis. And so during that period of time, usually at minimum two weeks,
By the way, the first week is so the body resets the niacin. Your body will get back to zero where you can start from 100 milligrams again or 50 milligrams. The second week is where your body gets back to homeostasis. And this is when people start to realize the gains that they achieved on their program. So just know that you shouldn't be looking for results during a 30-day program like this. It's going to happen afterwards.
And many times because of the body burden reduction is only a third, many times people need to do this protocol more than once. And I strongly encourage people to do it two to three times, you know, maybe over the course of a year, do two or three of these programs. But, you know, the biohacking things that you're doing, I heard cold plunge, I heard grounding. There's zero reason why you cannot do either one of them. In fact,
One of the things that we encourage between the sauna cycles is to take a cold shower. And the cold shower will get the excreted toxins off the body. But more importantly, if a person is having trouble sweating in their first sauna cycle,
A cold shower or cold plunge will get your body sweating in the second sauna cycle. So it's very encouraged, and I love doing that myself. So the cold showers and the grounding, in fact, I've never tried to put a grounding mat in my sauna, but that's not a bad idea. So that's something to consider.
How wonderful. This was very inspiring. So if we need more information and you that listen to the podcast would need more information, you can download, you can buy the book and you can even reach out to you, Daniel. That's perfect. Yeah. Yes. And getdetoxinated.com is the website. And I encourage people to learn more about the program because there's more visuals than I could offer on a podcast. So.
We'll make sure to put all your information in the show notes. And thank you again for joining us and guesting our show. My pleasure. Thank you so much, Daniel. Yes, thank you both. And I hope to come back. Yes, we hope to see you soon on the podcast. Take care and see you soon. Bye-bye. Bye-bye. Bye-bye.
Monika, now I'm a little overwhelmed. This has been two intense episodes. We have learned a lot, and this is, in my opinion, an exciting protocol. Yes, and Daniel looks fresh, and he has a lot of energy and knowledge. There is no doubt that what he is doing works and gives health benefits.
And as I said, we have just started and we will go into a little detail on how it works at home. And what is nice is that you can use an infrared sauna tent, so it becomes a little easier to get a roof if you don't have an air bed at home. You can use a dry bed, check in at a hotel like you have done, or you can go into a training studio and try to borrow someone's.
Ja, så det skal bli... Vi skal komme tilbake i torsdagens episode, fortelle litt mer, gå litt mer i detaljer om dette her.
But we hope you are inspired and that you are keen to take a little hold of this with the toxins in your body, even if it is invisible. And very much like to share our episodes with others who you think may be interested in it. And remember that it is also possible to contact Daniel and work with him if you want to test the protocol and feel that it is a bit unpressuring to do this alone. So then I put all the links that are necessary in the show notes below, as usual.
You can find him at gettoxinated.com if you're interested in that. Have a lovely week, and we'll just say Happy Biohacking!
